Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club offers a calm, supportive start to the day, helping children transition smoothly into the classroom and feel ‘Ready to Learn.’ We provide a range of quiet activities, as well as access to the playground for free play.

Our breakfast menu includes a selection of cereals (with gluten-free options), toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, and a variety of milks including oat, soy, and lactose-free.

Across both clubs, our Wraparound Care reflects the core values of our school. It gives children the chance to form positive relationships and friendships beyond their usual peer groups.

Times: 7.45am—8.35am (£3.50 per session)

After-school Club

Our after-school club provides a welcoming space for children to relax and unwind after a busy school day. Each week, we offer a varied timetable including sports, arts and crafts, food technology, and time set aside for homework.

Through play and group activities, we actively encourage children to develop important life skills such as communication, teamwork, and wellbeing.

For those staying with us until 5:30pm, we provide a seasonal menu. In the winter, for example, children might enjoy a jacket potato with a choice of fillings, alongside yoghurt, fruit, and a drink. A “Free From” option is always available to support allergies and intolerances.

If you would like more information, please contact our Acorns staff.

Times: 4.30pm finish (£5.00 per session) - Biscuits, fruit and a drink provided

5.30pm finish (£8.00 per session) - A light meal will be provided.

After-school Clubs

School life is not just for classroom learning, but also for identifying passions and hobbies. Here at Forest & Sandridge School, we offer a wide range of after-school clubs, all of which are aimed at giving our children an enriched learning experience. These clubs allow them to follow their passions, develop new ones, and hone individual skills and talents.

Teachers lead the majority of clubs, and the clubs on offer depend on what teachers wish to offer. However, clubs do change three times a year, in September, January, and April. There is usually no charge for clubs, although sometimes you will be asked for a contribution to cover costs, for example for ingredients in cookery club. From time to time, we offer clubs run by outdoor agencies, including sports club, cycling, and fizz pop science. There will usually be a fee to pay for these clubs
