Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to the Forest & Sandridge School website!

We are a large primary school in Wiltshire, on the outskirts of Melksham, and are thrilled to now be fully established in our state-of-the-art, 21st-century building built in 2016. Forest and Sandridge Primary School is very popular primary school in Melksham and as a result of large waiting lists, we have recently completed an extension to enable us to grow from a 2 form entry school to a 2.5 form entry school. Our school has 18 classrooms and an amazing 3-4 year old preschool. It also has a fantastic range of facilities including rooms for pupil-wellbeing, a large modern hall space, meeting rooms, specific intervention rooms, and a technology room. We do hope you enjoy learning more about our school while exploring our website.

I am a huge believer that if children have a smile on their face coming through the door and are happy in school they are in a fantastic position to flourish educationally, personally and spiritually. Forest & Sandridge is a school where we nurture pupils in order to help them to grow and flourish. We aim to provide the very best for every child in our school and to help them to fulfil their potential within a safe and secure inclusive, values-based Christian environment. This is based on Jeremiah 29:11:

"I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord … "Plans to give you hope and a future."

More details of our Christian vision can be found on the vision and values page of this website.

We have a skilled team of staff at Forest & Sandridge whose primary aim is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the children in our care. It is our responsibility to provide them with exciting and stimulating learning experiences that will motivate and challenge them to achieve their very best.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any enquiries or if you would like to visit us. We would be delighted to show you around!

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website.
