Welcome to Seedlings Preschool!

A big hello and welcome to Seedlings Pre-School. Mrs Jones, Miss Sherman and Mrs Walker are all excited to get to know you all.

Our pre-school is located on the site of our wonderful primary school, which helps to ensure young children become familiar with the atmosphere of a school and spend time near older children.

We provide a secure, calm and neutral indoor environment and a wonderful outside area with free-flow access throughout the day. All our resources are carefully selected to allow children to experiment, explore and enjoy. A hug, a story, a song, a time to explore, experience and learn - it all happens naturally every day.

Our Provision

The Seedlings Preschool provision is available for 3- to 4-year-olds and provided by a team of experienced carers and educators. Our preschool is open, during term time, Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., giving parents the ability to choose a morning, afternoon, or full-day provision.

With development at the heart of our preschool provision, we follow the early years curriculum framework. That means our curriculum is centred upon ensuring children:

Learn and develop well.
Are kept safe and healthy.
Have the knowledge and skills they need to start school.

Complementing our curriculum are our fantastic facilities and resources. We understand that establishing an environment conducive to learning gives children the best chance to develop and progress. Seedlings Preschool offers children a range of facilities, including:

A classroom designed to comfortably cater for 26 children.
A large outside learning area.
Secure boundaries.
Toilets within the main classroom area, including accessible toilets.

Funding for Children

At Seedlings Preschool, we are delighted to be able to offer both 30 hours’ and 15 hours’ free childcare to the parents of 3- and 4-year-olds. We understand the financial impact preschool can have on families, so we are pleased that the parents of children attending our nursery have access to support funding.
