Home-School Support

At Forest & Sandridge CE Primary School we value the contributions that the families of our children provide in ensuring the best possible start to their child's education. We recognise that for a child to be happy and succeed they need to be nurtured at home and at school to enable them to grow and flourish.

At Forest & Sandridge School, we offer home-school support. We have Teaching Assistants at school, who are available to support parents with any concerns or worries they may be facing at home. Children don't come with a handbook, and each child can present a range of challenges, which can subsequently affect their ability to learn. Home-School Support offers practical advice and guidance on the variety of challenges parents face. These can include issues such as:

  • Challenging behaviour.
  • Picky eaters.
  • Poor sleepers.
  • Concerns about your child’s emotional well-being.
  • Money worries.
  • Housing difficulties.

If you would like to find out more, please read the Home-School Support leaflet that you can find on this page.
