Birch and Sycamore classes visit Avebury

Birch and Sycamore Classes have spent the day immersed in the Stone Age, starting with a wonderful trip to the Wiltshire Museum where we were able to handle artefacts including tools and gold, as well as a bone from a woolly mammoth! We learnt about how the stones were moved and arranged and then went to Avebury to see them for ourselves! Thank you in particular to the parents who volunteered to help on the day.

We are looking forward to writing about everything we have learnt in a recount next week.
