On Tuesday 2nd May, all of the children at Forest and Sandridge school, including Seedlings Preschool, were involved in planting over 230 tree saplings on our school field. The trees, which are all native to the UK, have been planted to commemorate the King's Coronation and create a small copse as a legacy for future generations of children to benefit from. The tree saplings were generously donated by parent Max Hardman, on behalf of his company Ecolibrium and the event was supported by parents, grandparents, ex-pupils and staff who helped dig all of the holes.
